Hazards exist in many different forms and in all types of workplaces and industries. As you know, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that employers help protect employees from workplace hazards through engineering controls, hazard assessments and providing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
But, the responsibility doesn't just lie with the employer. It is up to the employee to wear their PPE and care for, clean, and maintain it. PPE: Inspect And Respect helps heighten employee awareness of the importance of PPE and shares important information on the types of PPE and how to properly inspect and care for it.
